“I wrote my master thesis on stakeholder analysis and, based on literature study and interviews with experts in the field, I realized that it is generally recognized that stakeholders play a very important role in the success of a project. However, in a contradictory way, most of the project managers do not invest time and money to analyze the project stakeholders.

There is a clear need for software packages supporting this analysis. VBC light offers an easy to use platform for taking into consideration the different opinions of the various project stakeholders regarding the features of the final project product. It makes possible a better participation of the stakeholders in the project, a better understanding of their requirements and like this it enables a better relation between them. Based on the scores given to a certain set of features, VBC light generates information on the stakeholder interests, attitudes, networks, and possible conflicts of interest.
